Greed is the inordinate desire to possess wealth, goods, or objects of abstract
value with the intention to keep it for one's self, far beyond the dictates of
basic survival and comfort. It is applied to a markedly high desire for and
pursuit of wealth, status, and power. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greed)
Slavery is a system under which people are treated as property to be bought and
sold, and are forced to work.[1] Slaves can be held against their will from the
time of their capture, purchase or birth, and deprived of the right to leave, to
refuse to work, or to demand compensation

For Egyptian pyramids you have to think about a situation where there was a
unity between spiritual and secular which we have lost. Modern ideas of greed do
not apply but a concept of mutual duty and consensus does.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
