Can you give a solution that would have had the same effect?
I know that the idea of giving Microsoft anything is a bad
idea. But can you give a solution that would have given the

I am amazed that Fedora is willing to follow the M$ path. If the Fedora users do
not immediately tell Fedora that they do not wish to join this club then they
will only have themselves to blame. For me, if this stands, Fedora is now on the
'do-not-touch' pile along with Suse and the other foolish distros of recent past
who took the M$ coin.
