The 8 test files are mentioned right after that.
The number 9 should refer to the only other item that
was found by the jury to be likely to be literally
copied without permission, namely the RangeCheck
method, which is (by some application of counting
lines) "9 lines" of trivial code appearing in two
files, TimSort,java andComparableTimSort.java.

It's very sweet of you to find a way to
make me right, and while it would be
pleasant to say that was what I was
meaning, but in truth, I just goofed.

I appreciate the kindness though. I just
used the wrong word without focusing.

I've fixed it now.
