p28 by -> buy (x2)

In the mid-1990's word processing applications and spreadsheets were the primary reason people would go by (buy) computer software. People don't go out looking to by (buy) an operating system. You go shopping for the applications that will do something for you. You simply need the operating system to run the applications.

Says 2012.

I know PJ has incredible foresight but this might be going a little too far.

Ubuntu & 'apt-get' are not the answer to Life, The Universe & Everything which
is of course, "42" or is it 1.618?

2011 --> 2012

For some reason the headlines of the latest two posts think the date is this
year instead of last year, eg:
Novell v. MS Trial Transcripts as text - Day 2, October 18, 2012, Opening
Statements ~pj, 12:02 AM
Novell v. Microsoft Trial Transcripts as Text - Day 1, Oct. 17, 2012, Jury
Instructions ~pj, 09:51 PM

Microsoft did this in order to tilt from the playing field in Microsoft's direction.

More a suggestion

Put the lawyers details into a small table at the top of the transcript to make them more accessible

 Jeff Johnson - Novell - Dickstein Shapiro
 David Tulchin - Microsoft - Sullivan & Cromwell

'bread' --> 'bread [sic]'
Authored by: ankylosaurus on Sunday, June 03 2012 @ 05:13 PM EDT

The transcript does contain:

we will have some food and a bread and then Mr. Tulchin is going to give an opening statement, and we'll take another short break

but it was likely that 'break' was said rather than 'bread' given the context.
