What I find amazing is one of the standard arguments against
going with F/LOSS - "we need to retrain everybody!" Yet,
every time MS comes out with a new Windows/Office, they
completely change the interface, and the 1st thing the
companies I worked for did was send everyone to training.
Hm, seems if you did that with F/LOSS, you'd have the same
cost, but now would be off the upgrade train - unless you
chose to get on.

Fortunately for MS and the Windows PC manufacturers, Apple has done little or
nothing to make their systems manageable in a corporate environment. Linux, on
the other hand, is still not a viable option for many corporate desktops.
I do believe Win 8 will throw a monkey wrench into the corporate desktop market,
