Miguel de Icaze believed what Florian Mueller said

Perhaps the only thing FM was right about was the test files.

I don't get how he didn't see that the judge was going to rule against Oracle in
the end on copyrightability. I thought that was obvious, but maybe it's only
obvious because I've never been paid for my opinion. Thus, I've long believed
that this judge would come to the right ruling, once it was clear that he
understood the issues and that he wasn't the type to be snowed by Oracle's
"expert" and his ridiculous word games. I admit that I worried about
the jury, given how they did not have techies, but they did a commendable job
overall. If not for that foreman, this might have been dispensed with even
earlier.

Well, except for the appeals. I'm sure those will drag on forever in the SCO
zone, where hopeless cases get appealed until the stars grow dim.

Miguel's purpose is to try to legitimize Microsoft technologies by porting them
to FOSS where they are a poor fit. He is part of the problem.
