I wonder if one could change "tested" to be "instantiated"

Those numbers are explained better on page 7. There are 166 packages
in J2SE 5.0, and 168 in Android. But only 37 packages were contested in
this trial.
There are 600+ classes and 6000+ methods just in those 37 packages (in
both Google's and Oracle's implementations). The exact numbers are
given on page 7 of the PDF.
So those statements on page 5 are technically correct ("over 600") and
I
think Judge Alsup chose to emphasize those figures because that's the
size of the contested APIs and he didn't want to create confusion by
giving the larger numbers for the whole platform (which aren't relevant to
