From the reading of his decision as per Copyrightability of
API SSO's here, he provides the clearest language yet, on
API SSO's. What's so great about this, is that even if this
goes to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, it's doubtful that
Judges there could find any fault with his ruling.
Though not really what you could call an Expert on Java, he
does an excellent job of breaking down exactly what the
Structure Sequence and Organization is.
Even a layman like me can come away after reading this
ruling with a basic understanding of just why Oracle's
Copyright case was doomed from the start. But like the good
judge he is, he's let this trial take it's course always
holding in his mind, just where this case could end up! ....
under appeal!!!
That's just the luck of the draw, that Oracle vs Google
ended up in the hands of a judge, who was well versed in
both Mathematics and Coding! [ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
