concerned with someone appealing his rulings...
and I suddenly got the
rather amusing impression that:
Judge Alsup is challenging Oracle to
appeal!

The BSF defense to the copying of the 9 lines would be that if it can't be
de-minimis because you have to look at each file in and of it's own, then you
also need to look at each and every line. In doing that, you see that each line
is a short phrases/mathematical expressions, none of which are copyrightable
based on this ruling and the law. ;) QED no infringement because there is
nothing copied that is copyrightable! :0)
