I was thinking that censure from the IEEE, ACM, or NSPE(if he's a PE, doubtful)
might have an effect, since the behavior is a clear violation of the codes of
ethics of these organisations.

It's direct enough that if he serves as an
expert in the future, the other side will
surely ask him about it on the stand, to
make sure the jury knows about it, if the
judge lets him. It could also be used
in a motion in limine to block him from
