You can also wipe the windows password file, and all sorts of other fun things
with linux liveCDs.

Something i've been wondering about 'why does that not
exist' for a while now: A linux-based 'play-the-game'
dedicated live CD or USB stick....
Let the game be as closed-source as you want, stop to rely
upon what software might or might not be present on a
Win-Whatever computer.
Instead: generate/distribute/sell an USB stick or CD/DVD
with 'the "stuff" needed for the game' as live system.
Linux-live is stable enough by a margin to support the
devices found on a computer to allow comfortable gaming.
I think many a parent with breathe a sigh of relief
knowing that the next game 'the little tyke' will want to
play on momma/poppa's PC will be a fully 'contained'
thing.
