I have suspected as much for a long time. We know that they had a special tax deal in Ireland, and if, due to the present economic crisis, the Irish government makes them pay full rate, that will also be financially embarassing. Various US states may go after them too, for instance they employ most of their more highly paid workforce in Redmond, but have a tiny office in some low tax state, I can't remember whether it is California or Nevada, where allegedly the production is done, and where the tax is paid. I suspect that retrospective action, if successful, would send then straight to Chapter 7, and certain directors possibly to jail.

Consider how quickly the Berlin Wall fell, when few suspected it would ever happen, at least in their lifetimes.....
