No, it was not a "left hand not knowing what right hand was doing issue"

If that was the case, she could have been re-instated the same afternoon.

The principal appears to be un-reppentant when interviewed and would clearly
have received information from the girl that it was a class assignment. There is
no "confusion" here.

It would appear the back pedalling is all to do with the media backlash, nothing
more. Funny how he now cites privacy laws preventing him from disclosing any
more, but earlier he was happy to explain the detials and say it was because the
video disrupted the school.

It would appear hoensty is not his strong point.
