I did not think I would need a microscope to find commentary about this incident on Groklaw. It deserves more extensive metion. It deserves its own article!

I just looked at user comments over at patently-o and some people overthere are beside them selves with fear and outrage.

This is how Mayo will be applied to Software!

Can I answer that?

Because Slashdot is for Geeks period.

Although once or twice NewYorkCountryLawyer (Ray Beckerman)
makes his much appreciated presence there. A gentleman really.

Don't even think of the latter, PJ, to wit: having a presence on /.
You're making 25 hour days as it is, I deduce.

Slashdot is based on moderation and there are a ton of known
shills who promote FUD for microsoft, promote articles by
Florian, anti-google and anti-open source rhetoric, etc. Also
it has a gigantic influence as a site.

So to see one for groklaw is creating a bit more balanced of
viewpoints, and shows that the microsoft folks missed a bit.
