Some say software is mathematics, some say it isn't; the truth lies probably somewhere in between.

Software is mathematics for certain definitions of software, mathematics, and is.

Unfortunately, people usually forget to define these before starting the debate. The whole joke about 42 being the ultimate answer but nobody knowing the question wasn't just surrealism, you know.
