You are mistaken.

Statutory damages are $750 - $30,000 per *work* infringed, not per infringement.
The court has the discretion to increase the award to as much as $150,000 if
the infringement was willful, or reduce it to not less than $200 if it was
unintentional.

It's quite possible that statutory damages will be awarded in the amount of
$200...
