Oracle's major obstacle on appeal
Authored by: Anonymous on Wednesday, May 23 2012 @ 07:31 PM EDT
Agreed this was a bit of a slam dunk there may be a lot of
hot air but to overturn a jury finding on the evidence
presented is going to be hard for any court. Looking at it
what grounds would be valid for an appeal given the judge
gave in to Oracle whenever he could we know it will rumble on
but Oracle really need to lick their wounds get of their high
horse and play with the other kids in the street. The patents
are going west and with the Euro decision you can't see what
is in effect a Lawyer manufactured claim with SSO's holding
much weight

Alsup bent over backwards to accomodate Oracle in the area of evidence. It is a
great trial record, imo.
