I've been rather looking forward to this moment. I have high hopes - that I
hope are not disappointed - that Motorola will now produce a truly open phone
not locked in to any provider.
One designed so the owner of the phone can
choose all GPL'd software and get rid of everything else if s/he wants.

7 inch ICS (plain vanilla) tablet with 2 usb host (so can
charge with one port and use the other at same time), hdmi,
sd card (normal size, can be smaller if you insist), PIXEL
QI NON-GLOSSY Gorilla Glass screen NEEDED to run Garmin
Flight Application, WiFi and 3G or so option with a plug in
SIM that can be pre-paid where we don't need to pay per
month like they have in Europe - as only as would only use
for Garmin Flight Weather to use in small plane with windows
all around so Pixel Qi is really needed for thaqt, will not
for phone (unless emergency), so don't want or need to pay
for monthly plan, just need to get some data when I need it,
where I can refill it when I need to. Ability to dual boot
Lubuntu Netbook (GUI has buttons for touch) on the device to
run the Linux apps I like (that are not Android).
