Couldn't have said it better...
Authored by: Anonymous on Sunday, May 20 2012 @ 09:06 AM EDT
The originator of this thread is grasping at straws and/or has chosen to forget
that Oracle lied to the court by painting Sun's positions as different that what
they actually were (among other things).

It matters because Oracle's version of the story is an intentional deception,
and it was presented to a court of law as if it were the honest-to-Josh truth.

One thing I love about truth... Once it's out, it's out, and there's nothing
anyone can do about it. What I find interesting is that the initial reaction
almost always seems to be, "It doesn't matter." It's an act of
desperation on the part of the would-have-been-deceiver, and an effort to
portray their action as something less offensive than a lie.

Keep up the good work, PJ/Mark/Grokaw! No one out there uncovers stuff the way
you all do. (And thank you!)

If I told you "go ahead and borrow my car, just fill it up with gas when you're done" and then called to report it stolen, wouldn't you think my prior statements were relevant?
Your prior statements would be relevant, unless you happen to be Oracle. In that case, you're screwed.
