EVERYONE writing software is a GENIUS
That does
raise a couple rather interesting questions (assuming totally correct):
I
wonder what the average IQ rating is per population separated by ... hmm... what
would be the appropriate phrase... general job duties?
In a "field of
geniuses", wouldn't the standard for what constitutes "obviousness" be raised
compared with a field of..... ditch diggers?
Perhaps the standard for
obviousness is already at the right levels - adjusting for job duties. This
could be viewed in the context of "based on an individual in the field".
However, due to the word smithery of Lawyers and some Lawyers willingness to go
to extremes, the measurement that is supposed to be has been
perverted.
Caveat: that doesn't mean ditch diggers aren't geniuses, I
simply use that as an example indicating the level of intelligence applied to
the work effort. To push a shovel into the ground, lift it and dump the dirt to
the side doesn't exactly require the intelligence of - for example - a brain
surgeon. I know from personal experience: as a kid looking to earn cash I did
many a manual labor job. And ditch/post hole digging is very limited in
intellectual stimulation compared with what I do today. On the flip-side it
excells in physical stimulation of which what I do today is sadly
extraordinarily lacking.
