accordance with the standards of commerce for its industry." The question
becomes whether the programmers were involved in behavior riskier than is

Hey I think we should apply for a hello world patent! We could make
BILLLEEEEOOOONNSSSS! If we get it then it would be the patent with the highest
number of infringing programs written per day. We can make it nice and broad so
it covers all kinds of salutations to large groups of people or words implying
everyone.
Hopefully they don't have any programmers at the patent office so they won't
find any prior art.
