For the most part, you have to envision that the jurors
are internet users to some degree. Their sensitivity to
hijack lawsuits is becoming more acute. Flamewars are the
way to settle forks and competitive idoligies. This has
served us well and we have great case law so far. However,
until lately (the last 10 years or so), judges and lawyers
have not been part of the war. My question is just that
did RMS see this ahead of time? The "sharks with lasers"
guys need to get with the "Lawyers with motions" folks.
This is serious stuff, It can affect the freedom of
information if the judges rule the wrong way. Luckily,
Alsup seems to at least grasp the gravity of the
situation? I hope?

So what happens when Aplle's management changes (or gets bought out), and
