SCO isn't yet cleared for trial, actually. There
will be a hearing June 22nd I think it is.

Another one up in the air is Microsoft,s motion for a judgment as a matter of
law before judge Motz. Or did I miss something?

The end of Psystar's adventure

That's odd, the moral of the story for me wasn't that the Pystar lawyers overdid
the braggadocio, because that's expected behavior in most high profile lawsuits.
A lawyer proclaiming that their side of the case has no merit and is bound to
fail is a rare event indeed.

The moral of the story for me was that, as expected, the Supreme Court sided
with the establishment and refused to rock the boat even by a token amount.
They have affirmed that Apple's monopoly is not subject to competition through
creating compatible hardware for their software. Surprise, surprise.

It's exactly as expected, but that doesn't mean that it's good. Protectionism
and upholding of monopolies are alive and well in the US.
