Likewise.
In some ways I think it has seemed strange that he hasn't ruled on the API
issue, which has extended the rope for Oracle.
But I'm thinking back to way before I learnt SSADM(structure systems analysis
data modelling) and now remembering how difficult a discipline data modelling
felt, and how creative and unique any SSO I did felt back then.
I have encounter many programmers with far more proficiency and ability than
myself with programming languages, but more often than not have been surprised
by how deficient or uneducated in SSADM they have been, and quite sure that they
still place a higher value on their data modelling work (through their
struggles), than I would place on even the most complex things a System
architect could encapsulate in design/topology.
So I wonder if the judge is struggling to separate his own programming efforts
of SSO; being like painting a masterpiece, than being a painter and decorator.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
