more likely to be understood by the jury.
Every one of the claims in the case except 11 have "and executing the
program". In claim 11 it is a little more of a stretch, as it says "a
processor configured to execute said instructions [...] storing said numerical
references".
As you point out, dexopt doesn't execute the program after the symbols are
resolved. Claim 11 just talks about the processor configured to... and as
someone pointed out the interpreter when it see an iget instruction will call a
symbol resolution routine. However, that result can't be stored for next time,
since the running app does not have permission to rewrite the cache, that can
only be done in advance by dexopt. So the processor is not configured to do all
of execute the instructions and resolve the references and store the result. It
can either resolve and execute or resolve and store without executing.
