What I want YOU to do, is to PROVE it to me that the earth is
spherical, not flat. I bet you can't.
I wouldn't even try to PROVE
something like that, to any person who's decided to reject any attempt at
proof.
However, if you were an appropriate kind of engineer (e. g.,
civil), designing something fairly small in scope for me, and you use anything
but flat-earth geometry in your designing process, I'd be inclined to fire you
for wasting time calculating in an expensive mode rather than the cheap mode
that's indistinguishable.
OTOH, if we were designing a 10-mile suspension
bridge, and you used flat-earth geometry for the base and top distances between
the suspension towers, I'd fire you for endangering the project by your
errors. ---

What's that test with the poles and pits at noon?
You know, that famous one.
If you want proof to the level you are asking for, you have to gather all the

are Lunar eclipses. The shadow the earth projects onto the moon is always
curved, no matter from where on earth you see it.
Of course, you have to observe more than one.
One observed from the poles allows you to see both sun and moon at the same time
and you get to confirm that the shadow matches the sun-earth-moon configuration
for the shadow to form.
Observing from the equator can do the same thing - but only for a short time,
