Isn't $150,000 just the _maximum_ statutory award?

It's the "baseline" only because if the actual damages are
higher, Oracle will choose those instead. He's assuming that
they'll be awarded the $150,000 in statutory damages.

In other words, either they'll take the $150,000 (statutory)
or the higher actual damages, so it's the lowest amount.

IANAL. So, if I was in the jury:

9 lines of code
15,000,000 total lines in android.
$6,000,000,000 original lawsuit amount

The math:
9 divided by 15 million
that result divided into the 6 billion claimed
$3,600

That would be for both statutory and/or damages.
