Shoot me! I wrote the previous comment...having lost my place. (or fine with me
if it gets unceremoniously dumped into the bit bucket)
Commander X talks of people handing over the keys to the secured databases by
the PFK (Pimply-Faced Kids) truly in charge. That's striking...and echoed in my
own experience, where the VP literally LOST the password and the program to the
database that was supposed to create the smart keys to the building.
Another echo: I work in a small civilian organisation, and my boss has no real
idea what I do. File permissions, such as they are, are very shaky... my
president has had e-mail diverted to him, but didn't do that without a support
person.
