Appeals from both sides were a foregone conclusion. We are still in the first
half of the first act of a three-act play as the appeals unwind. The first two
sequels to this drama are already in preproduction and will probably debut
before this play concludes.

The thing is that you can't trust anything that the Oracle
side says. Maybe Google did waive. Or maybe not. Best to wait
and see, because there are instances of fast & loose with the
truth by the Oracle team.
