Unfortunately I suspect someone accidentally published a
draft article that wasn't supposed to go live yet.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

Reply briefs on Judge Alsup's EUCoJ RFC aren't even
due until
Monday 14 May, after which there will be more questions from the judge,
after which there will be a hearing, after which still more questions from the
judge. After which a ruling. Maybe. I sure don't expect one until after the
jury's patent verdict is returned, and even then possibly only preliminary
though IANAL and sure don't want to second-guess this
judge.

Hi Alan
Thanks again for your emails.
We share a commitment to the truth and to accurate reporting.
In light of that, it’s unfortunate that Computing published an obviously
inaccurate story – one that I took down as soon as I became aware of it.
The matter has been investigated internally.
The story was incorrect, based on an inaccurate analyst report (which is no
excuse) and it should not have appeared on our website.
It was not subject to the correct checking procedures and, as a result, fell
well beneath the high editorial standards that I expect from the magazine.
As editor, I apologise for this lapse in our standards.
I am happy for you to publish this statement with my full authority on Groklaw.
Thanks once again.
