Particularly if you are on a two wheeled vehicle.

PQV + HCF - valve cap = Nasty Surprise next time you try going round a corner

PQV = poor quality Valve
HCF = High Centripetal(or was it fugal) force.

The air caps keep junk out. Rangecheck does the same thing, more or less.

Actually, the valve caps serve 2 purposes:

1) Keep dirt out of the valve
2) Fully seal the valve

both of which are extremely useful - the first vital as dirt in the valve could
cause it to leak slightly.

Rangecheck is useful, because of the bad data that the program has to deal
with.
