Does it matter? As long as they aren't fired for gender, race,
religion, etc. (the protected categories), they could be fired
for anything or nothing. Unless I'm wrong about California

Drastically negatively affecting a lawsuit worth beeelions is
not likely to improve career prospects, even if they couldn't
directly fire them for it.
Larry is going to be mighty annoyed with someone over this
lawsuit as it is, I'm guessing nobody will want to be target
