W3C DOM API is implemented in J2SE. Literally copied from the

For whatever reason Android's drawing API is entirely separate from the
Java API (no java.awt, for example). When I ported an applet-based game
over to Android that was one of the biggest pieces that needed to be

I agree, that the rules Oracle wants to impose on Google would likely hurt
Oracle more than Google.
First, Oracle has to win. Then they can beg for a do-over when they have to eat
their own pizza.
Still, they might not win. That would be the quicker route to the destination.
