Thanks to the internet and Google I get to see some of the workings of the math
statistics involved with the fast stock trading algorithms. Seems like there is
plenty of hard math involved in statistics at that level of chaos when you
wanting to compare apples to oranges. Can it be separate even at the BS level?

My maths teacher refused to teach it!

I did it a bit at Uni level, and it's just as rigorous as any other branch - and
just as dangerous if you use the wrong technique - like calculus!
