Where are they going to get such a compiler?

Android projects are created with the JDK - property of
Oracle, downloaded from Oracle. You can just go and teak
their compiler.

ROT-13 would be easier

The folders/files paradigm is not going away,
there is plenty of prior art, and it would
be a massive change.

So, really all Oracle has left is the names.

And I believe they don't have all of the class, method, etc,
names trademarked.

And reusing the names should be safe under Scènes à faire,
with Oracle/SUN having heavily promoted the scene.

I don't see anything left except smoke, which I guess they
could can up, get a patent, and start selling SSO Smoke.

They need to start looking at some way to stay in business.

I would much rather see them scrap Java's structure completely and cause the
fragmentation that Oracle is asking for (and that Sun was fighting so hard to
avoid). Maybe supply tools to refactor the existing code so the impact to
existing projects is minimal. And from then on, there are two worlds and java
falls further behind in the industry.

Be careful what you wish for Oracle.. It could happen. Then how much is that
purchase of Sun worth?
