Excuse me if this seems obvious, but I'm not a native
English speaker, what does this mean? [ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

Judge: We are here
to discover whether or not there are grounds to sue.
Aren't
motions around there being sufficient grounds to sue usually heard very early on
by the judge, way before the jury trial actually starts? Like a motion for
summary judgement for failure to state a case. This judge seems to be doing a
lot of things backwards.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

Earlier: Judge scolded Google 4 letting Schwartz say no
grounds to sue - ambiguous, unresponsive. Wud have tossed but
Oracle didnt object.
