Apache Harmony Project Existed Before Java was Open Sourced!
Authored by: Anonymous on Sunday, May 06 2012 @ 04:58 PM EDT
So what I'm saying is that since what's being stated above
existed prior to GNU GPL, it's the reason why the Harmony
Project could even exist before Sun Opened Sourced Java.

Obviously that's why this whole argument could be used to
support Google's position that they could use Harmony with
or without the blessings of Sun and that's exactly why
McNealy said what he did about Google:
In a McNealy March 8, 2007 e-mail to Schwartz, he wrote:
"The Google thing is really a pain. They are 'IMMUNE to
COPYRIGHT LAWS', good citizenship, they dont share. They
dont even call back."

Apparently Google using Apache Harmony is what caused them
to be immune to Copyright Laws and why Schwartz stated that
they had no grounds for a lawsuit. It's also obvious that
Google had decided there was no point in continuing
discussions to obtain a license from Sun and therefore had
decided to draw off Apache Harmony Project instead. Because
Sun had no say so them doing so!!!
