EU judges declared API's as not copyrightable? A phone a friend moment for this case?

EU judges declared API's as not copyrightable?

Was that, for our Oracle v Google case (at least for the
judge), a "phone a friend" moment for this case?

Where, the judge, has some "help" that would support his
ruling that API class of code parts, were not subject to
copyright protection?

Hope he "gets it a bit better now", at lease if he rules in
the same way that he EU ruling went, he can feel good that
he is not "alone" anymore. And, would protect his backside
when it came up for appeal as well (hey, if others in the
world are doing the same, then his ruling would not be "a
far out" lone wolf, alone on a cold winter night, howling
out to the new moon.
