And to quote the catch cry from a seminar that Sun held when Java was just a
pup: "Java is C++--." They explained this saying that Java was very
much like C++ but without many of its traps and foibles. (referring in
particular to the inbuilt garbage collection functionality of Java versus the
malloc/free traps (memory leaks) in C and C++.) So like English, Java
"borrows" much of its structure and vocabulary from C/C++.
Now they complain because Dalvik borrows vocabulary from Java.
