Oracle providing a laptop to the jury
Authored by: AntiFUD on Wednesday, May 02 2012 @ 02:55 PM EDT
Lets hope that it has no camera, no microphone and no bluetooth enabled.
Wouldn't a dvd player and tv be a better option?

Does jury want to install Java SDK?
Authored by: SpaceLifeForm on Wednesday, May 02 2012 @ 04:09 PM EDT
Well, we know it will be a windows laptop.

Therefore, this phase of case is tainted already.

Maybe Java SDK from SUN^W Oracle, and
the Android SDK.

Maybe they want to compare.

Thanks, we'll be here all week.

Don't forget to tip your waitress.

Somebody knows what they want to "view" is a source DVD
I agree, the court should provide this, not either team.

Can Google move for mistrial if Oracle send laptop to jury?
Authored by: dlrapp on Thursday, May 03 2012 @ 02:19 AM EDT
IANAL but it seems highly inappropriate for an Oracle attorney
to offer a laptop to send into the jury room. Who knows what
is on that laptop HDD . . . if there is anything that wasn't
presented in open court then isn't this misconduct????
