EULA's have gotten completely out of control, and we definitely need a
crackdown. Companies and products with EULA's that prohibit fair use, enforce
intermarket tying, or otherwise go too far in restricting customers' rights need

Incidentally one also wonders how this goes down with various Blizzard cases
concerning using the WoW client on private servers, and also the use of programs
such as Glider to auto-level characters?

As I understand it, reverse engineering is a legal right (in the UK, and I
believe Europe too).
As such, no contract (like a EULA) can abrogate that right.
