Boot2Gecko

Boot to Gecko (B2G) is an open source operating system in development by Mozilla Corporation that aims to support HTML5 apps written using "open Web" technologies
Methinks their lawyer made them put the quotation marks around "open Web" technologies so they could justify proprietary, patented codecs like H.264 on the platform.

(Dear Mozilla: the community is still waiting to hear your Moses game plan. And by "Moses," I mean the plan where you lead us out of the well of proprietary, patented stuff that you're asking us to jump into)

What online social networks may know about non-members
Authored by: artp on Tuesday, May 01 2012 @ 01:51 PM EDT
I find it ironic (off the scale, actually) that an article
about how much social networks can figure out about non-
members requires a Facebook login in order to leave a
comment.

I decided that I didn't need to see over the wall. I was only
going to leave a comment about how someone decided that a 40%
identification rate of a multi-variable case was equivalent
to a coin toss. Somebody needs to go back to school.

Barnes & Noble press release
Authored by: Superbowl H5N1 on Tuesday, May 01 2012 @ 03:02 PM EDT

In the Barnes and Noble Press Release it is unclear who is paying who royalties. Which way is the money flowing or is it going both ways at once?
