All of those bits are required for interoperability. The API is, in substantial
part, SSO, because it defines how things communicate.

So I do wonder what the jury will do here.

In other words, a SSO is another word for API, and exactly the same thing?

If so, isn't it a logical contradiction, if SSO can be copyrightable, but API not? Will the legal system disappear in a puff of logic? Ex falso quodlibet?
