Where ever you can find traction

Arguably the manual infringes what is understood to be SSO when evaluated under
copyright standards for writings

There is nine lines of code, and a few comments

and another bunch of test files

That's traction.

All else is stretching what copyright protection you do have as far and as wide
as you can make it go and make someone defend themselves when even when they
admit the copying.

That's a Lawyers job.

I think they gave it a good go, even if it did give me a headache.

SSO=API=Names=SSO:

Protected Concept of Unprotected Material is Protected
That's a huge win if you can make it fly.

So not so loony

Crusade?
Authored by: The_Pirate on Tuesday, May 01 2012 @ 08:31 AM EDT
Wasn't Larry Ellison best buddy with the late Steve Jobs?

Jobs swore he'd destroy Android / Linux, if it took all the ressources of Apple:
it looked too similar to original concepts and things he had... borrowed. Like
rounded corners on a tablet...

Could it be, that Ellison decided to go-ahead with this madness, out of sorrow
and respect, as a favour, and in memory of his friend?

If that (admitted, far-fetched) theory is true, the lawsuit of course doesent
become less silly. But somehow, to me, it makes Ellison seem more human.
