Yes, if they pick up on the direct comparison, it makes it very hard to support

Oracle's position.

I would have liked to see Google highlight this, but I guess there was probably
a
reason not to.

They are both non-attorneys providing guidance.

Schwartz was making his points in a blog meant for potential customers. Come on over developers! That fine java water just got finer!

Lindholm wrote an internal memo about what was needed to bring a product to market. Guys, sorry to be a drag, but I think there's an A we need to CY.

Neither are definitive. At the end of the day, it's what Google did, and Google may very well have established policies that meant Lindholm's concerns were unfounded. And yes, each side will say the opinion that supports their argument is the one that should have priority. But opinions are all they are and I trust the jury to understand that.
