And what about judge A.
Authored by: Anonymous on Tuesday, May 01 2012 @ 04:20 AM EDT
"Litigators don't do it just for the money. "

On either side untold millions of dollars are spent, teams of god only knows how
many people put together to fight the battle.

And then there's the judge a government official, who earns a fraction of what
Van, Jacobs and Boies earn. A man who doesn't have the kind of staff the other
two parties have. A guy who's doing OTHER cases in the afternoon.

The 3 lead lawyers in this case are amazing fellows, but so is the man in their
referee....

Don't just do it for the money
Authored by: cricketjeff on Tuesday, May 01 2012 @ 04:26 AM EDT
Probably true

but ...

How about suggesting they take a pay cut to the level of, say, high school
teachers, now count the number of top litigators still working.

They don't just do it for the money, but the money is by far the largest reason
they do it!

shakes hands

Yes the firm makes the money, but at least for some of the headliners whose
names are in the firm's name (Boies, Van Nest) they gain personally quite a bit.
