I feel bad for Barnes n Noble. The history of what happens to
Microsoft partners isnt very good for the partners.
But I can see it from Barnes n Noble's perspective if the
lawsuit goes away, and if they keep the nook. To just have to
make a windows app, and sell to windows users doesnt sound
that bad.
Perhaps they can showcase the nook somehow and if the Windows
software is buggy, customers might buy one.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

Did anyone else watch "The Neverending Story" as a child?[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

But - did not say that lawsuit or anti-trust has gone away...
or have I missed something?

That's a shame, because as a Linux and Android developer B&N Shop was a
major source of revenue. About 2x what Amazon Appstore was bringing and 4x what
Google's Play Market was.
It was seriously funding a lot of Android app development.
