I think I've been misunderstood
Authored by: Anonymous on Sunday, April 29 2012 @ 03:05 PM EDT

As you say, the document dispute is before the Jury, but for virtually identical
copying rather than substantial similarity as i read it because the protection
is narrow in scope

And while the modern practice is to generate documentation from comment, it
still leads to an identifiable work, in the case of Android SDK it is the
reference subdirectory of a documentation directory and in HTML format.

As to no-one argues (as proposed in p+?, not my assertion, only my title), the
judge has already tossed the idea that the Android API Code was made from the
English Language description in the Specification, as to the other claims, as
you say Oracle have barely shown anything and what they have shown is not going
to stand up to comparison, and the judge is deciding SSO. Judging from the
indentation depth many folk seem to have got distracted by details.

I hope that clears things up
