Instruction 17 starts with the clause
"The copyright confers ownership over particular the expression of ideas in
a work"
This seems wrong, but that is how Judge Alsup has it in the pdf. It is not a
transcription error. (As noted in an earlier comment, to find the pdf, one must
correct a hyphen to a slash in the URL.)
My guess -- and is is just a guess -- is that the proper reading is a simple
transposition:
"The copyright confers ownership over the particular expression of ideas in
a work"[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
