How many people have been hired to help support Linux because
of their involvement in the community?
It's like listening to the RIAA argue piracy is killing them
when in all reality its their business model. Just because
FOSS doesn't fit into Oracle's business model does not mean

Actually, IBM is primarily a services company and is aiming at being primarily a
software company. Take a look at their financial reports.
Hardware has taken a backseat for a long time now. As Sun found out, a hardware
company will be eaten alive by lower cost solutions.
